  • The Reformed System of Doctrine, as expressed in our standards, is Biblically based; and we are dedicated to maintaining its purity.
  • We are one, joined in the universal body of Christ and dedicated to the knowledge and faith that Jesus Christ is our only means of salvation.

Worship

  • Our worship service is God-focused and scripturally sound, motivating us to life-changing actions.
  • We are devoted to prayer as a means of speaking to God in an attitude of earnestness, humility, love, and praise as we give thanks for our blessings and supplication for His guidance.
  • We believe in demonstrating our faith by living in the Word of God joyfully and lovingly and with a passionate commitment to Jesus Christ

Relationships

  • We treasure the sanctity of human life and support it from conceptionto death.
  • We believe in cultivating loving relationships as a vital part of our
    ministry.
  • We are committed to the ministry of small groups which providesopportunities to study God’s Word and develops loving relationships, cultivating an environment in which Biblical insights are shared and then applied in our everyday lives.
  • We value the family as instituted by God and governed by Biblical principles.

Christian Education

  • The integration of Biblical truths with knowledge is fundamental for the spiritual development and education of all believers.
  • Teaching biblical truths with academic subjects is essential for the spiritual development and education of our students.

You May Unite With the Church...

In the Presbyterian Church, it is the responsibility of the Session (the elders) to examine and receive new members.

...by Profession of Faith

We welcome into our membership all who are willing to take the following vows in the presence of the Session:

  1. Do you acknowledge yourself to be a sinner in the sight of God, justly deserving His displeasure, and without hope, except through sovereign mercy?
  2. DO you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and Savior of sinners, and do you receive and trust Him alone for salvation as He is offered in the Gospel?
  3. Do you now resolve and promise, in humble reliance upon the grace of the Holy Spirit, that you endeavor to live as becoming the followers of Christ?
  4. Do you promise to support the Church in its worship and work to the best of your ability?
  5. Do you submit yourself to the governement and discipline of the Church, and promise to strive for its purity and peace?

...by Certificate of Transfer

We will receive into our membership by a church letter anyone who is in good and regular standing in any evangelical church.

We do not require rebaptism, but accept as valid any baptism administered by an ordained minister in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, regardless of the mode used.

The pastor of our church will be happy to write for your church letter.

...by Reaffirmation of Your Faith

Those who cannot secure a certificate of transfer (some denominations do not grant letters to churches outside their own communion), or who have been inactive and wish to make a fresh beginning in the Christian life and rededicate themselves to God, are received on their own statement of faith in Christ.
